The 2015 season is coming!
Pre-season for ANUFC State League teams will start on Monday 16 February. Trainings will take place on Monday and Wednesday nights, and Saturday mornings. Sessions will occur on Willows Oval (synthetic ovals near the ANU gym) and South Oval.
As in previous years, ANUFC intends to field teams in all divisions of the Men’s State League competition. Come down early for the best chance of making a team!
Trials for the Capital League / Reserves (ie the top two teams in the Club) are already underway. If you’re keen to try out at the highest level, get amongst it! Next session is 6-8pm Wednesday 28 January at Willows Oval.
To play for ANUFC, you need to also become a member of the ANU Sport and Recreation Association. Current ANU students and staff are automatically members; all others will need to join the SRA for $120 (subject to eligibility requirements; see SRA memberships). Membership fees for ANUFC will be announced in the coming weeks.

The new deal will see the experienced and popular Capital Clinic Physiotherapy become the ANU FC’s preferred physiotherapists for the 2014 football season.
Accurate injury prevention and successful treatment of injuries is not an aspect of the game that can be ignored. As a result, with its ideal location in the heart of Canberra’s city centre, partnering with Capital Clinic Physiotherapy is a great opportunity for ANU FC and its members.
For this season Capital Clinic Physiotherapy will provide the club with a number of free consultation and treatment sessions to minor injuries while also providing an ongoing 10 per cent discount to all ANU FC members and affiliates for any private consultations.
ANU FC president Matt Caldow said it was exciting to secure a new and much needed physiotherapist as a sponsor for the club as it enters the new season.
“On behalf of all our members and supporters, I would like to welcome Capital Clinic Physiotherapy to the ANU FC,” he said.
“It is a long season ahead and with the support of our new sponsor, we can ensure that our players receive the guidance that they may need in relation to sporting injuries.”
“We also hope the sponsorship will be able to continue long into this club’s healthy future.”
